BLEND 05
Polymer
Blend 05 is a proprietary blend of 50% UHMW (5 million
molecular weight) and 50% autocrosslinkable, low melt flow
(very high molecular weight) high-density polyethylene.
Injection molding UHMW is too difficult
and few people try. PPL
developed PB-05 in response to the challenge. PB-05
combines the properties of UHMW with the economies of injection
molding.
Polymer
Blend 05 is a low cost, moldable alternative for applications
requiring the abrasion resistance associated with UHMW.

PB-05 is extremely chemically resistant, slippery,
abrasion resistant, and has excellent low temperature
characteristics.
